Awards
Every year, the Year-end Show has a series of awards available for our student body.
How it works:
- Awards are open to all SID students based on their eligibility.
- External jurors adjudicate the Year-end Show Awards.
- The Year-End Show Award portal closes and external adjudicators choose from the submitted work to award the following below.
Best Interior Design Studio / $500 for each studio
Year 1 IRN 101 or IRN201
Year 2 IRN 301 or IRN401
Year 3 IRN 501 or IRN601
Year 4 IRN 701 or IRN801
Best in Sustainable Practice / $250
Best in Visual Communication / $250
Best Use of Materiality / $250
Best Design Process / $250
Best in Show / $750
Decided right before the show by external adjudicators that includes all projects of all years.
4th Year Innovation Award / $1000
To recognize and reward the student who demonstrates the most innovation and creative thinking in a fourth-year Interior Design Project. No submission is required for this award, the fourth-year Interior Design Studio course instructors select the recipient. Adjudicators can select up to 4 winners.
